This is a fantastic list! Did you collate it yourself? Just by searching? Or is there some way of creating an Umbrella project that then collates all the projects that fall into a certain region? I'd love to know if there is something like this available for Victoria, and if not, then can you help me create one?
Hi @row_nature, I like the idea of an Umbrella Project feature that finds all Collection Projects that it encompasses. That would make this easier.
This list has been built up over time. Searching on the 'Projects' page will only bring up projects with the search term in the project title. But you can still find a few by choosing relevant search terms, (i.e. Victoria), or the names of various parks, suburbs, and nature groups.
You can use the 'Explore' page to find the those users with the most observations in Vic and check out the projects they have joined on their profile pages. These users are often the creators of many projects, or have joined the most.
Also keep an eye on new observations being uploaded in Vic. Look at the observations to see which projects they are included in. Many new projects are created by people new to iNat who have joined to create a project to associate with their nature group, conservation program, event, etc.
And of course, you can always create your own projects :)
