3000 Observations!!!

As of yesterday, 3000 observations of reptiles and amphibians from Santa Barbara County have been made research grade. I want to personally thank all of you who have uploaded Santa Barbara reptile and amphibian observations to INaturalist as well as those of you who ID them. Thanks to the observations you have uploaded, I (and hopefully many others) have been able to learn a lot about the reptiles and amphibians of Santa Barbara County, including when certain species are active and some of the interesting behaviors that are normally difficult to observe. Many observations of snakes in highly urbanized settings have also been posted and have taught me a lot about the habitat requirements of our county's snakes. This project has certainly been enlightening for me and I hope that all of you are gaining from participating in it. Thank you all for your participation and I cannot wait until we get to 4000!

Cheers,
Max Roberts
