Week 7 Nature Observation
This week I explored further into my parents ranch. I walked about a mile in up until I reached Elkhorn Slough. My parents have always lived here and I spent 18 years on that ranch, but it wasn't until now that I realized how many different kinds of plants and trees there were. For a long time I only thought there was only oaks and eucalyptus trees around, but it seems like there was more. I saw a few birds and a turkey surprisingly. There was also way too many mosquitoes around so I ended the walk kinda quickly.
