BioBlitz in December and more milestones
There is a BioBlitz - a return visit - scheduled for San Pedro Valley Park on December 3rd. More information will be forthcoming.
Also wanted to thank @sea-kangaroo for the shout-out of thanks to the San Mateo County Bio-Blitz when she started the similar Santa Clara project!
Note that @dpom is now over 10,000 observations!

Dang. That's the day of American River Natural History Association's Winter Wildlife Census. I really want to do one of these bioblitzes so I have some experience with them. I'm trying to plan a mini bioblitz for the Koobs Nature Center project that I started. So far I'm still the only contributor.
I think @dpom is about to hit 20k today. Am I wrong that she's 5 away? Crazy.
Thanks for mentioning how close I am to 20,000. I had better save it for something big!
That's for all of @dpom 's observations. The 10,000+ was for San Mateo county only. She's amazing whether one thinks of her globally or locally!
I hope it is something cool @dpom. I still haven't hit my first 200. I feel like such a slacker.
