Not sure what to look for? || Ddim yn siŵr am beth i chwilio?

You could try focusing on a group of organisms or a particular habitat.

All these things are ‘under-recorded’, so making iNaturalist observations of them will be extra helpful:

• Invertebrates (minibeasts)
• Slugs and snails
• Lichens and fungi
• Mammals (you might need to record tracks and signs)
• Seashore and marine animals and seaweeds
• Pond-dip in your garden

Fe allech chi geisio canolbwyntio ar grŵp o organebau neu gynefin penodol.
Nid yw’r pethau hyn i gyd wedi’u ‘gofnodi’n ddigonol’, felly bydd gwneud arsylwadau iNaturalist ohonynt yn ddefnyddiol iawn:

• Infertebratau (bwystfilod bach)
• Gwlithod a malwod
• Cennau a ffyngau
• Mamaliaid (efallai y bydd angen i chi recordio traciau ac arwyddion)
• Anifeiliaid glan y môr, morol a gwymon
• Dip pwll yn eich gardd

Troi gwych heddiw - Great walk today

Fantastic guided walk today with lots to see on a maritime-urban transect through the Gwent Levels into Newport. Plenty of records and fascinating details about the area. Great to spot a couple of dune-loving snails (Xeroplexa and Cernuella) where the soils become sandy on the riverside. And squadrons of St. Mark's Fly appearing just about on cue. Many thanks to Gavin (Newport Transporter Bridge), Jeremy (RSPB volunteer), and all who took part. Diolch pawb!
