New South Australian Places Created, Projects Added
Another batch of South Australian public parks has been added to iNat, and all have been linked to this Umbrella Project. A list is provided below. All areas have some form of protection and are accessible by the public. However, if intending to visit these parks (especially those further from populated areas) please take note that some may have periodic or seasonal closures, access may be limited due to road conditions, some may have entry fees or may require a permit be obtained before entry.
iNat has made some changes to how the map is displayed in Umbrella Projects. There is now an option to turn off the place name 'flags'. The upside is that the map for this project is now no longer overcrowded with project names. The downside is that without the flags it can be difficult to tell which place on the map relates to which collection project. However, in many instances the underlying Google map has some place names that become visible when zoomed in.
