lizardking's Identifications

The dog made another impressive but gruesome discovery. Opposum? Raccoon? Muskrat? It was found near a drainage pond near fields & some trees where we have seen coyotes & signs of them before. Tail bones, rib bones, a pelvic bone. The skull startled me when the jaw opened when I picked it up. I don't like engaging w/the dead stuff but she will follow me w/it easier than I can get her to leave it. And, documenting seems worthwhile. It lived. The skin/hide part had been still attached to the top of the skull at first.
