Nature Walk Around Chestnut Hill Reservoir - September 15, 2019

I took a walk around the Chestnut Hill Reservoir. It was sunny and fairly warm, about 78 degrees Fahrenheit, with light wind. There were many people jogging and riding their bikes around the reservoir. There were also many people walking their dogs. Even though the reservoir is manmade, there were a lot of wild plants around and near the reservoir that did not appear to be landscaped or planted by humans. There were also a lot of animals swimming in the reservoir, such as swans, geese, and ducks. Some geese were outside of the reservoir, walking in the grass next to the walking trail. I even saw some turtles laying on the rocks inside the reservoir. There were many wild plants in the grass around the reservoir, as well as the grass next to the walking trail. This nature walk was a good experience, because I got to see a lot of birds and other animals in the reservoir that I normally do not get to see.
