This app has a nice workflow for uploading photos https://www.wikiuploaderapp.com/features.html

Although this app is not in "React" i thought the sourcecode was open..Sourcecode https://github.com/lyrk/Commons and it prevents double uploading.
Step1..Select the photos to upload
Step2. Add info in some fields
Step 3. Upload the files
Step 4. Gray out, Green circle around the photos

Zeer handige tool in iNaturalist.

OK, here is how you can see your options: In the Community ID box, click "compare", then set the Place to "South America", and for Taxon, type in Calycopis, you'll get: these 4 matches in that genus: C.origo, C.isobeon, C.caulonia, C.cerata. But then try "Lycaenidae" (the larger family), and you'll get Ministrymon azia, and Strymon melinus added to that list of 6 very similar species. You may need a more local expert.

It is possible using the unobserved_by_user_Id parameter in the observations view.
2 caveats
if you do a species view, you are restricted to the 500 most frequently seen species unless you start filtering down (ie add birds or beetles etc)
the ‘unseen’ is not geographic specific, it counts you as having seen it if you have seen it, but not in the location you specify.(so for example in the list below, Grey Kingbird will not appear, even though I have never observed one in Ontario, just elsewhere)
For excample this url shows all the birds reported from Ontario that I personally have not seen (or more accurately not recorded an iNat record for as I have actually seen some of them)
you can add additional filters for hrank and lrank equals species if you want to get rid of the genus level records.
all these Check Rep observations have been placed (wrongly) in Amurskiy rayon, KH, RU https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/identify?quality_grade=needs_id%2Cresearch%2Ccasual&user_id=ahospers&place_id=42066&captive=false
But it would also be helpful, for example, if you know a particular person is an expert in a taxon. If you could find observations they've added IDs to, There's also this somewhat hidden endpoint where you can search
Identifications by taxon and user e.g.:
https://www.inaturalist.org/identifications?taxon_id=171769&user_id=loarie
Try "ident_user_id"
https://www.inaturalist.org/identifications?ident_user_id=loarie
I find it very easy and quick to annotate my observations in the Identify tool right after I upload them, now that I’ve gotten into the habit. I’ve bookmarked https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/identify?reviewed=true&quality_grade=needs_id%2Cresearch&user_id=tiwane and this shows me all of my own observations I’ve reviewed (ie observations to which I’ve added an ID), with the latest ones first. Then it’s just a matter or going through them. That URL should work for anyone, just replace “tiwane” with your own username.

https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/leaf-and-plant-galls
https://www.inaturalist.org/blog/15450-announcing-changes-to-projects-on-inaturalist
But there is still a huge need for classical projects: i.e. projects to which observations are manually added, or added by virtue of observation fields that are required. To my mind these are "tagged" projects. (in iNat logic one traditionally "added observations to projects", but for similar projects on iSpot we added tags and created projects to filter on the tags - the net effect is the same, a lookup table of project-tag and observation, that can be used as a filter - either alone or with other filters).
The addition of a project-tag filter to the new projects will make the "traditional" projects into "collection type" projects too, while preserving the Project Icons on the observations.
((the additional functionality of defining observation fields from within a project is an extremely useful feature.))
No coordinates and you have other obs from the same day and all those obs from that day HAVE TIMES appending ?interpolate_coordinates=true to the edit observation URL (the URL you’re at when you’re editing an obs, e.g. https://www.inaturlaist.org/observations/edit?interpolate_coordinates=true) will fill in coordinates based on a time-weighted average of the nearest observations in time.
A nitpick: is the central filter a Location filter (using google places) or a Place filter (using user-created iNat polygons) or both? It would help if the terminology was standardized with the observations pages and its filters.

https://forum.inaturalist.org/t/using-the-field-similar-observation-set-for-linking-observations-of-lepidoptera-when-raising-on/1018 E.g., “Similar Observation Set 5,” or “Linked Observation” work well for this. And yes, you’ll definitely want to make new observations for this.

NO LOCATIONS
NO COORDINATES
for this user, filtering on verifiable=false gives me more or less what I want, but conflates these with any Data Quality criteria, not just missing coordinates.

This is slightly better as it’ll exclude captive=true and species = human:
