I'm an ecologist who studies birds and their habitat in the Great Basin and am currently pursuing my PhD at UC Davis. Most of my work has been focused in central Nevada, western Nevada, and eastern California. I am interested in riparian communities of passerine birds and the modeling tools we use to understand bird occurrence and distribution. I'm also a member of the Nevada Bird Records Committee.
