Originally from Victoria, BC. I have worked in Horticulture most of my life, studied entomology at the University of Victoria as an adult learner with a strong interest in Integrated Pest Management. Have only in the past few years realized that my lifelong curiosity about plant and animal life can be described as an interest in Natural History. My wife and I have had the tremendous privilege of living within the Heiltsuk First Nations community of Bella Bella from 2010 to 2016 and since then in the town of Masset on the northern tip on Haida Gwaii.
