I am an ecologist based in Hong Kong but originally from Scotland. My professional expertise is in birds and habitat management, especially wetland creation and restoration. Recently (largely) retired I am reconnecting with the fun of getting out in the field and searching for interesting animals and plants and identifying them. Just a beginner with inaturalist, my main contributions in the near future are likely to be unidentified taxa, either current or from past field trips that I am sorting out now that I have some time.
