Working some things out...

Hi,

You may notice that this project now pulls all vascular plant observations into the project. I had started on creating an iNaturalist list of the significant species (Riley & Martin), to link to the project and in turn include/exclude species accordingly. Unfortunately I clicked "Update to Collection project" which does not seem to let me link to the list and essentially pulls all vascular plant observations in the region into the project.

I am trying to figure out how to make this work. I may end up deleting the project and starting over, but in going through the steps of creating a new project I don't see how I can incorporate the "must be on list" function that I was aiming to have. Lots of forum posts I need to go through, just wanted to let people know why your European Buckthorn observation is now included!

Spreadsheet of 1999 Plant List

I have uploaded a spreadsheet of the rare/significant plant species here:

https://portal.nrsi.on.ca/public.php?service=files&t=3201959300eb1d0230af1f92540381fe

This includes both the 1999 Richardson & Martin List as well as the 1989 Riley list. You can use this to refer to but keep in mind that species not on this list but which you suspect could be quite uncommon or new to the Region would be of interest. I do not have a filter set for the project so in theory a member of the project could add Trillium grandiflorum (or all of their Waterloo plant observations) and they would get pulled in. Ideally reference to the spreadsheet will help to identify what is of interest to the project and what isn't.
